Spring is a season of abundance at Thicket, as the days get longer and the flower beds are a riot of color. This is when many of my favorites bloom: heirloom narcissus, ruffled ranunculus, double “peony” tulips, and delicate anemones.
For the very first time this year, I will be designing my signature whimsical arrangements weekly for a limited number of lucky subscribers, bringing them unique varieties of sustainable, locally grown flowers.
Details:
- Subscriptions will run for 6 weeks in March-April, with deliveries on Tuesdays.
- Exact timing will be determined by weather over the winter. Customers ordering subscriptions will be notified at least one week before the first delivery.
- Arrangements will be Classic Vase size and feature flowers grown here at Thicket, with occasional supplements from other local farms if needed.
- Available for local delivery in Monterey, Pacific Grove, Seaside, and Carmel. Subscription price includes delivery.
- Deliveries will be left outside the door, in a sheltered location whenever possible.
- If a recipient is out of town, they may choose to have the week’s flowers delivered to someone else locally, or contact Thicket to pick up on a different day.
- Subscription holders with a keepsake vase may put it out during the next week’s delivery to be picked up and refilled.
- To encourage reuse, customers may bring their Thicket vase back at any time to be refilled with a new arrangement at a $5 discount.
